Lone Star Ag Credit Participates in Forth Worth Stock Show

Fort Worth, Texas - Lone Star, ACA (Lone Star Ag Credit), the premier ag-lender in Texas, hit the Fort Worth Stock Show with a bang this year.  As one of the presenting sponsors, it was the place to be and be seen.  The Fort Worth Stock Show had more than 926,000 visitors this year who packed into the Will Rogers Complex from January 16 through February 8.  This year was the 113th anniversary of the show and it proved to be a successful event for all who attended.

Lone Star Ag Credit was involved from start to finish in all aspects of the show.  “We feel it is important to support our community and the stock show is an obvious choice for us,” says Daron Gates, CEO.  Lone Star had a massive booth in the exhibit hall and gave a FREE truck away for the second year in a row.  Howdee Snoddy of Grandview, Texas won the truck that was presented by Jerry’s GMC of Weatherford, The Ranch and Lone Star Ag Credit. 

Presenting sponsor of Bulls Night Out and the Fort Worth Stock Show All Breeds Heifer Sale and Luncheon was also Lone Star Ag Credit.  Bulls Night Out, the PRCA extreme bull riding event thrilled crowds with exciting action and the Luncheon and Sale were great networking events for our employees.  A steer was purchased by Lone Star during The Sale of Champions which exceeded last years gross sales in spite of the questionable economy.  “Whether it is a committee position or buying a table at the Livestock Appreciation Luncheon, Lone Star Ag Credit tries to be involved as much as possible with the Fort Worth Stock Show.  The people are great to work with and we feel the return is priceless,” stated Mr. Gates.
